An Art Fire Releasing Ceremory can literally and figurately cleanse you and your art space.
First, you carefully choose pieces that no longer serve you. Maybe they never really worked or they were never really you in the first place, etc. but your creative efforts are held within their layers! Tossing them out with the garbage just doesn't feel right.
So, with a few like minded friends, water, a fire pit and a back up fire safety plan, you take turns offering these pieces up to the Universe. You lay them respectfully into the fire. Drumming, music and a few words of gratitude for your art can wrap a meaningful ceremony around this offering of your art back to the Universe. Literally and figuratively.
