When I painted this self portrait, I was still working full time and my life was often way too busy. My connections to my World of loved ones and friends and work were focussed. While taking it all in, I was certainly aware of the strength it took to juggle and balance it all with my painting, writing, downtime, housework and such. Some of these connections just sort of stayed under the radar:)
