This painting, with its wavering and somewhat distorted reflections inspired me to write

"Self Reflection"
Be kind when looking back,
looking out or looking in.
Gaze lovingly on who you were
before the who you are now.
Know that Tomorrow's gaze back
may rest on what you see today.
